A sweet, summer cocktail made with Hendrick's cucumber gin, homemade strawberry basil simple syrup and topped with lemon Italian soda. Enjoy!
TIP: to make strawberry basil simple syrup, combine one cup of white sugar with one cup of water and cook over medium heat until all sugar has dissolved. Add a few strawberries and basil leaves and allow to steep for 20 minutes. Strain and enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1½ oz Hendrick's Cucumber Gin
- 2 oz strawberry basil simple syrup (see recipe)
- 2 oz lemon flavored Italian soda
Directions
- Shake gin and strawberry basil simple syrup in a shaker and dump entire contents into a glass
- Top with lemon flavored Italian soda and garnish with fresh flowers
